Usually people come to us because they’re a bit stuck. We find that people get stuck in three main areas…understanding what’s going on now, clearly identifying what they want to do, or developing and implementing a plan for making it happen. But here’s the frustrating part for so many of our clients…identifying exactly where you are stuck. When you’re too close to the stuck-ness it’s hard to figure out what’s really going on. Or, you may have had LOTS of people already give you (totally unsolicited) advice and you’re brain is spinning around trying to figure out what the actual problem is.
That’s where we come in. We have lots of experience working with people to help them figure out their next steps. So what can you expect if you work with Strategic Dynamics?
Questions. We ask lots of questions. We’re nice about it but we make sure to ask the really hard questions that make you dig deep. Our ultimate goal is real, sustainable results, so that means just scratching the surface isn’t our style. Lasting development always requires clarity.
A strategic approach. Strategic sometimes gets confused with “boring” or “difficult” or “confusing” but it just means you do things with intention. Bouncing around from one idea to another without focus, or starting multiple things and never finishing anything, is a sure way to stay stuck. We’ll help you focus on the best strategy to meet your goal and provide tools and support to make sure you get there and that it’s sustainable.
Results. We’re really focussed on doing work that actually accomplishes something. It drives us nuts when we hear about people doing training, creating policies, or developing plans just because some business guru workshop or popular article told them they should. Frankly, that’s a waste of your time and ours. These projects take time, money, and energy and if we’re recommending them, they need to be worth it. We use systems and processes based on proven business practice. We know they work. But we don’t suggest an approach that is one-size fits all. We’re about getting the right results for YOU.
